i have a 1 1/2 yr old rebuilt 700r4 in an 86' 2.8 w/less than 600 miles on it. i have one probmam when i am doing about 55 and i open the throttle to let it down shift, a few times it has seemed to downshift into neutral or 2nd gear b/c it pegs my tac, i have 88' iroc gauges, at 7000. it does this once in a while and sometimes it downshifts correctly, and i have already adjusted my TV cable. any one have this problem or can help?

 

I have the same problem got it rebulit and when i goo to pass everynow and then it revs up then it shifts hard and i tried to show the tranny shop but no my car wont do it when im at the shop... Next time i blow a tranny ill just buy a new one.. I herd no one can rebuild a 700r4 correctly
