im a beginner when it comes to timing, so heres the dumb question: how do u advance the timing? all the talk of u guys advancing the timing 2* and gaining 2 tenths makes me wonder what i can do...

Disconnect the cord its behind the passanger side strut tower it has a singe wire goin to it then get a gun see were its at and there is a bolt below the dist.. how u loosten it i dono ive tried to reach it but cant so ill jsut wait but my timeing is 9 degrees and i kno it needs to be adanced but i her when i put my MSD in i will want to retard it some so i dono.. The timeing gun is like 25 bucks at autozone

 

Curious- why would you retard the timing with the MSD box?
