How to install injectors?

Transmission: 700R4
How to install injectors?
OK, the injectors have been ordered for my 3.1. It looks tricky to get them in- all loaded in the fuel rail, they should be too splayed to get into the manifold as a unit. Or not??
My thought is to put one bank in the manifold; then lock the other bank in the fuel rail, press into the manifold and then lock down on the bank already installed.
Sound like a plan, or do those of you with experience have a more foolproof idea?
And use Vaseline or oil to lube the orings?

When I did my f1ze injector swap I just put them on the fuel rail and pressed them into the manifold they will go in just fine just lay it over the manifold line up the injectors with the holes before you push the fuel rail down. I didn't need to use any oil or anything.

The injectors will be wobbly in the fuel rail because of the o rings. That way you can guide all 6 into their homes at the same time. Then push them down.

Having a second set of hands to guide them in REALLY helps! Otherwise you'll be working with it for a while to keep one lined up while you try to adjust another one.
