Ultimate Cold Air Setup

http://www.geocities.com/overlift/Dcp02084.jpg

1. 3'' PVC about 17 inches
2. 3.5'' K&N Conical
3. Sewer adapter to go from 3'' to 2.5''
4. Paint

All ya need is a hand say, primer, gloss and a drill with a half inch bit to make the hole for the temp sensor.. Oh ya also need to relocate the battery

Lol, not trying to be mean or rude at all... But why did you post this? Did someone ask you to? Im just used to seeing questions and here you are telling someone how to make a cold air. Im just wondering. Oh and I might go with your cold air idea! Thanks!

FastRS, I used the same coupler Brian's got pictured.. it's a regular 3" to 3" PVC coupler, but since it's rubber, it squishes, and you can tighten it down on the 2.5" MAF.

Er, wait, isn't the MAF 3"? I forget

Damn, Monkie, you'd turn away a free hooker wouldn't you?

Brian, that looks very much like what I did, except I skipped the long tube and have the filter a little farther ahead than where your MAF sensor is, so it gets lots more air.
My battery could stay put too, 'cause I think in Firebirds it's always located on the driver's side. At least in mine it is.

This is a great and very inexpensive idea, guys.. I highly recommend it to anyone.

A free hooker sounds about as safe as a free condom...
