Info on 4.3L's please.
I just got a truck with a 4.3L in it. I was wondering if any of you knew a lot about the 4.3L or a good site for info on the 4.3L. Thanks.

great little motor.. well big for a v6.. im guessing its TBI? anyway you can do pretty much anything with it you can with a small block v8, not to mention most parts are interchangable...
I say on Trucks on TNN they added a supercharger to a S-10 4.3 V6... My grandfather has one in his 78 Grand Prix and there are many options, just do a little diggin around... What are you looking to do, what year is it, ect...

My dad's 4.3 has the Vortec fuel injection system on it... vin code Z (or is it W?)... feels like a powerful motor. I only get to move it around the property tho, I haven't driven it on the roads, for some reason he won't let me

Not looking really to do much to it, it will just be the daily driver. I hope it last a long time. I guess it should since it is just a small block 350 missing 2 cylinders. Thanks everyone.
