What cought my eye about the MagnaFlow is that they say "No chambers. No baffles. No louvers and no restrictions. Just straight-through wide open performance power with a smooth deep tone."

- 96 Camaro 5.7L
13 HP gain
1 second off 0-60 times

Thats pretty good!

I will preach Dynomax till the day my 2.8 dies. I like the quality I have gotten and the price. If I had the money I would buy one for every 2.8 owner in America I am so happy with their product. I have not put anything on my car that was so cheap to have installed and fit so well, looked so hot and soudned so good. GOD SAVE DYNOMAX..

Okay so I freaked about it a little, but it is a great setup and like anything there is always something better, stronger, and more expensive...

I agree Dynomax is awsome. Im just trying to look in different directions. Maybe something else will give us that much more HP and should that much better. But it is very hard to beat $150 for a catback!

I forgot 3.1 Firebird has one, and it does sound great. Also, who's going to argue with the 16 flat guy? I still plan on going Dynomax though, because I want performance, and still relative silence.

So the MagnaFlow is loud as hell and the Dynomax is quiet? Which one sounds deep and mellow? I dont want it to sound broken up i want it to sound mellow and deep. so which one would sound better?
