SO I WILL BE REPLACING THE FUEL PUMP ON MY CAMARO AND WILL BE CUTTING THE STOCK EXHAUST. CAN I REPLACE INTERMEDIATE PIPE WITH ONE FROM A V8 OR ARE THEY DIFFERENT IF SO WHERE CAN I GET A CATBACK FOR THE V6 EVEN IF IT IS STOCK THANKS.

 

Firstly don't type in all caps, its annoying as hell for two reasons, 1: its the text equivalent of yelling, and 2: it takes twice as long to read.

To answer your question, I believe the v8 cars have the same intermediate pipe, but I am not positive, as far as aftermarket, summitracing sells catbacks, but unless its rusted out, I would just take it to a shop and have them either weld it back up after, or take it off for you, or just do the whole thing for you, but also I don't think you have to remove more than the muffler and tips to get the tank out, but I am not sure on that.

 

I know the muffler its self has to come out to get to the fuel tank. But you would prolly find a nice muffler at your local junkyard. I got mine for $10 and it sounds great.
