you might want to try http://www.turbotransam.com and ask on their message board. tta's usually arent on the board except for 20psi or tta850 and thats rare

Hey Monkie, I can't figure out what a low 7-second 6600 1550 for $3K is. The first part of it is probably a type of turbo, I don't understand the rest. Do you have a site I can look at?

My TTA is starting to come together. The motor is back in the car and the turbo/exhaust is being rebuilt. Trying to find missing bolts and stuff that has been misplaced. What a pain.

The turbo is basically a drag turbo. Well, it IS a drag turbo. Im sure your car would have to be buff in order to run that. Its 3,000 for the turbo and nothing else. And it puts out about 1800 HP. Its a monster! http://www.gntperformance.com/indexie.htm thats the site. Have fun!

That sounds like the turbo called big thumper that most of the really fast mustangs run. Joe DeSilva went 7.25 @192 with one. My friend Allan Witter runs a stage II V6 252 ci and uses a big thumper. He runs 8.50's and can never get good traction. My car cannot handle that. I'd have to hit the big lotto to afford that one and what it would take to make my car go 7's.

Kyle, that's thier job. Even though moderators, I didn't see under the V6 description that everything was tech. It said DISCUSSION and questions about the V6. I do think that most everything in these posts is at least some discussion about them. Although, Kyle's Escort isn't exactly a 6 cylinder, let alone a 2.8, 3.1, or 3.8 now is it Kyle?

20psi, that's a pain to remember where those bolts went! I still have a few coffee cans full of spare bolts, nuts, & shims from when I rebuilt my Firebird... damned if I know where they go!

On the message board page you will notice that in the blue bands there is topics, the V6 board falls under the Tech Boards that and the problems the adminstartors had before is why Non tech post are suppose to be directed to http://www.nethirdgen.org or locked or deleted.

TomP, too many fingers in the pot, that's why they are lost. Need bellhousing bolts, torque converter bolts, had to buy exhaust bolts, intake bolts, intercooler scope bolts, alternator/ac mounting bolts. The heads and block were already studed so I did not need them.

But its coming along slowly, I told my son I want my car back for Christmas (not a chance). It will be ready for next season first weekend in March at Englishtown both TTA and Mustang GT are going to kick butt there, just like in the past.
