In the 2.8? I hear it is a VERY good "cleaning oil," and also the 40-wt. should be nice and smooth due to the oil chemistry, and also thick enough to help with the "leaking past a seal" issue?

Just wondering.

If you use a "cleaning" oil, you're going to get seal leaks regardless. What you don't realize is those built up chunks of ash and what not are plugging small gaps and holes in the seals and gaskets. Clean them out, and the engine is going to bleed like a stuck pig. And I wouldn't use 0W (how can that even exist?) oil in an engine requiring minimum of 5W-30.
