HT 3.4 , will it work in 88 Camaro?

The Gm performance parts book says it is for 82-85 blazers, will it bolt into my 88 camaro with MPFI?

Hey man Im getting ready for the 2.8-3.4 swap and as far as I know it will work, you will have to take your comp. and fi, all your accessories plus the 3.4 injectors and put them on the 3.4 block.

Im not woried about that, its just tht the ad says its for an 82-85 car, but I have an 88, Im worried if all the bot holes are in the same spots and stuff. I have to upgrade injectors? cant I just get a higher fruel pressor regulator.

shouldn't have a problem, all the 2.8L bolt patterns were the same for the 2.8L-3.1L and i think the 3.4L too. They are the same block.

Yup, you take the intake and FI from your 88 and pop them on the 3.4.

This is a very detailed swap.
Lots of little things make it work right.
The idea is very simple, tho.
Recreate the 2.8 onto the 3.4 block.
Need to keep the 3.4 balancer & flexplate, as they are neutral balanced.
Go get a running example from the wrecking yard, you'll win better!
I got a 40K 1995 long block for $800.
I turn my key on Saturday.

I just got my swap dialed in.
IT'S INCREDIBLE!!!!!!!!
I AM STUNNED and this is from one that owns a 1974 Corvette!
The front end LEAPS!
And I still have the old 2.8 in the trunk area. I can't wait til I remove that weight!
DO THIS SWAP!!!!!!!!!!
WORTH IT!!!!!!!!!
