need advice on engine swap

Transmission: 700r4
Axle/Gears: BW 9 Bolt 3:27
need advice on engine swap

ok im 16 and i live in Jersey where the car insurance incredible. I own an 86 Camaro berlinetta with the 2.8 and dual exhaust. I want more power from my car, either swapping in a bigger V6 or gettin mods but i am afraid my insurance will be too high if i put an 8 in. just want some ideas or advice...thanks!

Welcome to the board you can check the board just about everything that can be done has been done by someone here.The 2.8 is a great motor and you can mod it up to 3.4 or stay and change cam pistons intake exhaust ignition and so on . then there's always turbo's superchargers and nitros.If you have the money you can go as fast as you want.

Be smart, do what I did.
Go get a running 3.4 long block, slip it under the hood.
It's very easy & VERY DETAILED, but, so worth it.
My Firebird now pulls like a freight train, all that extra torque!
Do this swap!
