I've used Accel stuff for about past 20 years.
I've even bought used Accel stuff & it works perfect!
I have the Accel remote coil, Accel cap & rotor, too on my 1985 2.8-3.4 swap.
For me, I have Accel stuff on all of my cars (5 of them!)
Accel makes the BEST STUFF ON EARTH!

You already found the place; Summit Racing. Call them and ask for parts for your 3.1 f-body.

You can also check out Accel's website at http://www.mrgasket.com and download their catalog, that will give you the Accel numbers for the stuff you need.

I've used an Accel cap/rotor since '98, but the part # escapes me right now. 5132? 6132? Oh well. Summit will know- CALL them at 800-230-3030.

Actually ive had nothing but horror stories personally because of Accel products...their 8.8 wires with no internals on 3 plugs, 2 defective accel ignition boxes, etc.

Did you inform Accel of their bad products you've received?
When ever my Accel stuff wears out, I return it to them & I get new stuff, free.
I've done this with coils, distributor, even plug wires.
For me, Accel, always stood behind their products.
That's why I do recommend them so much.
NOTHING WRONG WITH MSD either. I use their coil on my Wife's 1968 Camaro 6 cylinder.
