89 RS was v6 now 350 tpi 700r4 with paper work to back the 5.7. Has headers, flowmaster exhaust, K&N, will get my MSD 6a, coil too. It was just given a bit of a ghetto paint job but looks good still. its tan in color, tinted windows, cd player. It needs some cleaning and the vss replaced. It hauls *** ...he did one hell of a burnout in it. The rear was lifted about 1/2" to accomodate larger tires in back. Both f/r have new rims along with a drag set with tires for the back. He wants 1800. 1000 now 100 a month. It needs new guide seals soon too because of the little puff of smoke as well. But i believe its a good deal. BTW full power.

Sounds like its been a little TOO messed with....

1) Tan paint? Far from anything stock. Are the door jambs and under the hood at least the same color?

2) The motor swap. Was it done right? Does it have the proper V8 tranny, or did they ghetto-rig the V6 tranny to it?

3) Jacked up rear? Not so good for handling....

Honestly, if you like it, grab it. But this thing sounds like its been HAMMERED pretty hard....just my opinion.

Walk in there with $1300, cash, you'll take the car, now.

If not, go find another, as a V-6 to V-8 without proper smog certificate is trouble!

That's why I stayed with a V-6. My VIN is a V-6, no need to pay $300 for a smog recertification sticker. Ask him how soon smog is due.

Judge your purchase on that answer (with the produced paperwork to back it up before you give him any money!) and get him to $1300 full payment, & ride into the sunset!

thats deffinetly a car that sounds a bit to much like a "trailor trash thirdgen" IF u really want a V8 thirdgen just buy one factory. U will always loose out when u do 6 to 8 cyl swaps.

Heh, I guess I'm the only one that likes it. Sometimes 3rd gens got a "Champagne" color, which looks like a nasty faded tan. If it runs good then why not? Oh and my rear end's lifted a few inches, handling's pretty good!
