For those with IROC wheels on their sixer....

I dont know if this is just my car, but have any you guys ever had a chance to compare your V6 with IROC wheels to a real IROC or Z28. Ever notice how your sixer's wheels are kinda more in the fender than the eight's wheels? I've done a direct comparason and the eight's got about an inch wider in track in both the front and rear. These IROC wheels came off an 88 IROC and are in perfect condition. Are there any wheels spacers that Chevy added on the Z's and IROC's that they didnt to our sixers? Just a thought! Thanks fellas.

Could be wrong, but I do believe that the 6's came with a 7 inch wheel, and the 8's with an 8 inch wheel.

I'm pretty sure he's right about the 8" thing. I know stock Firebird wheels are 7" wide, and the Formula ones, which are nearly identical, are 8" wide, I would assume it's the same for Camaro/IROC wheels.

Yep, We have 15x7 wheels on our 6's, (unless its pretty darn old and has the 14's...)
All the Z's, some RS's, Not too sure about the SC's or berlinetta's... they got the 16x8's.

In case ya didnt know, the IROC is a Z with a little extra stuff.

Guys, he said he tossed 16x8 IROC rims on it and there's a difference between how 16x8 IROC rims look on a base model and how they look on an IROC.. I wasn't going to post this last night cuz it would have been a bit premature since just Overclk misread it, but come on..

MSD coil, Accel 8mm wires, SplitFire plugs, Gabriel hijackers, possible performance chip I don't know about.. gotta crack open the ECM and check sometime

however, aren't the drums on a v6 smaller than a v8's? they are awefully small.
