Ajustable Fuel Pressure Regulator for our 2.8's

Does anyone know if there is such a thing? I've heard that you can use a Holley regulator for the 5.0's but has anyone done it? Us 2.8 guys should look into it because our 2.8's can use all the boost they can get. I know V-8's get a significant increase in HP and tourqe by ajusting their fuel pressure, so why shouldn't we? Hehe! thanks guys.

Well, they don't get significant gains, maybe 5-10 HP. The v8'ers mainly get a gain after doing extensive flow work to the engine (head porting, cam, etc). After that work, the engine flows too much air for the stock regulator's fuel, and the engine runs lean.

I wouldn't say it'd be a good "first" mod, but if you've done a ton of things, look into it. And yep supposedly the v8 TPI fuel regulators are the same for our MPFI ones. I've heard of a few that've done it.

Well I have noticed that my engine sometimes suffers from a fuel pressure drop. I am looking for an adjustable pressure regulator for mine now to help this problem.

I dunno, I figured most of us are suffering from not getting enough air? Seems to be the case with my car, higher revs would run smoother if I had some kind of force flow system... I think...
