Not bad? I thought they were bad, guess not. All I've done is dynomax catback (my cat may be clogged, unsure), Jet Stage 2 Chip, and Full Tuneup w/ K*N, Accel 8.8's and Rapidfires. On top of that, my engine has 157,000 on it. Traction didn't seem like too much of a problem to me except for the first time where I accidentally went through the water, and forgot to burn it off, and spun all the way into 2nd cuz I was nervous and forgot to let up. It was my very first time out at the track.
Wow, I figured our cars would have ran better than mid 17s
that kinda sucks. Maybe a good 2 more....haha, nah Im not gonna do it. But seriously I think you can do much better than that! Im sure my 6 would have ran a high 16. But oh well I dunno. Anyways I'm out.

. Feel free to visit us whenever. Just cuz you have a 4th gen Z doesn't mean you can't help out some of these guys. LOL, Rser Imed me cuz his PCV valve was clogged, and he was freakin out.

I dont know...on all your runs your reaction time off staging was good, but your 60' times sucked. I think ur not hooking up right away.... What are u launching at?

2nd: 30mph
3rd: 50mph
4th: 78mph
I dont got a tach so i go by the speed... also on the launch, make sure u dont bog the motor cuz these v6's dont got that bottom end grunt. just droppin my tactics.. payce!

Try these simple free tricks.
UNLOAD EVERYTHING YOU CAN, including back seat & passenger seat.
Your tire traction varies according to the pedal and quality of the tire.
Try this idea.
Slip a large bag of cement in the passenger side of the rear compartment or kitty litter.
Something the weight of 30 lbs. min & max
Try adjusting the tire air pressure. Go lower & higher. MAKE SURE YOU PUT THE TIRE BACK TO PROPER PRESSURE FOR THE RIDE HOME!
Try removing the attachemnt for the front sway bar on the A-Arms only!(weight transfer).
Try pumping up pressure in the front tires (less rolling resistance).
All those ideas cost ZERO DOLLARS!
Next, you need ignition help! Get an aftermarket coil. I have/use an Accel remote mount coil. That will help ya big time! Change your oil, to fresh oil.
Bring lots of bags of ice! Ice down the air manifold intake system. Cooler air, equals denser more condensed fuel, which equals a few more horsepower. Even add a few bags of ice packs (the kind for injuries) into your air cleaner and remove your air filter. Make sure your radiator is a zero temp., water it down to keep engine cooler, but, don't drive thru the water puddle.
And finally, stage early!
Only break the front light, not the front & second light, you will now have a rolling start, that way.
Oh, concentrate on YOUR TIME AND YOUR LIGHT.
Ignore the competition. Blank them out, even if you must create a blinder so as not to see them.
I think ya did GREAT! You made it to the track, raced, had a great time, learned something, didn't break anything and you're better to go back/race next time!
Race at night time, cooler air.
How is your tranny mount? Good condition?
Have you practiced with a "christmas tree" computer program at home? Try to leave on the last yellow light. Your reaction time will let you go on the green!
Ask what the "perfect" R/T is for that track. Is it a .500 light?
KEEP AT IT!
I miss street racing in Van Nuys ALOT!
But, don't street race.
To many stupid people that will only kill me in an accident.
Your third run would have been in the 16's if your reaction time was better, I'll bet!

Hey QuarterMile, glad you joined up here. Sean (QuarterMile) ran a 15.2 in his 4th gen V6.
EDIT: Had to delete somethin that I had thought of, but realized that there was a typo up top....
