Top speed

Heheheh i know this will get locked but i do have a way for you to figure top speen IF and ONLY IF you have the HP to sustain it.

Take yer car and go as fast as it takes to hold 3000 rpm (if yer car red lines at 6000) OR sustain the 1/2 the rpm yer car redlines... i.e lineline is 5000 then sustain 2500... Read your MPH.... times it by 2... thats the approximate top speed of yer car IF AND ONLY IF you have the HP to sustain the speed.

After i sold my car and he put it all together we got it going to 129mph (GPS verified) the speedo pegged at 120 and became unpegged a second or two after he let off the gas so it was close. We had about 1000 rpm to go to hit 6000 rpm and could have slowly climbed to it on nos... The car sustained 129 without nos and had power to climb higher but then again anything over 90mph is just plain silly unless yer out running tornatos <--- i live in texas lol

On a stock 2.8 to 3.4 engine you are looking at about 110 to 125 mph top end and miles to get to it. Its not about high end guys... its about how fast you can get there IMHO...

Okies lock away

Speaking of locks, won't your computer shut it down at 118? Mine does...

I want that chip that fastRS has; you know, the one that gives you an extra 150-200 hp. Seriously guys, these motors just dont have the hp to sustain that kind of speed. When was the last time you saw a car with under 300hp do 150mph, and I dont see fastRS coming up with even 200hp.
