Does anyone have an idea of what these run in the quarter mile?

no way. 3500 pound car with 135 hp does not = 16.2's. 305 TBI's with 170 hp and 250 ft.lbs run a 16.2 stock,.

16.2 sounds about right, anything is possible with a stock 60* V6, just ask fast RS.....he went 153MPH in his.

True the the 305 TBI car does have 170 horses to the V6's 135, but the V6 car also has 3.42 gears over the 305's 2.73s. As long as the V6 is a manual and the 305 is an automatic, I can see these numbers happening. (plus the V6 has a slight weight advantage over the 305)

i'm thinkin somethin is fishy too, low 16s out of a stock V6, not likely.

i've heard people running 2.8L's for low 17s there first time out. I could easily believe that 2.8L/3.1L could turn a high to mid 16 in the 1/4, low 16's not to sure. I would also think a TBI firebird/camaro with 170hp, 2.73 gears, and several extra pounds of weight. Their only advantage is the T.Q. actually, if you look at the HP/Weight ratio, they're actually just as good as us in the HP form.

I ran a stock 2.8 camaro back in phoenix. It ran 18.3 I believe. I know it wasn't running bad or anything, but considering the gas sucks out there and it was about 90 degrees id say mid-high 17s with an auto tranny. Manual should net low 17s, possibly high 16s on a good run. However, a 16.2 just doesn't sound right.

(yeah, im not a third gen owner, my friend is so I wander around a bit:P )
