HEADERS!!!!!!!

Ok guys go get a towel so you can soak up the drool after i tell you this....it's not for certain yet but i think it should work..Ok i have an 88RS (2.8L) and its as fast as a 305 with everything i have done to it.Anyways i was surfin the web lookin for some headers or a supercharger for the 2.8 engine....Well all i could find were 3.8 so i thought hey wait a Fiero has the 2.8 V6 and its an american car so the setup is basically the same and sure enough they have headers and a charger for that car...So i jumped outta my chair and picked up the phone and ordered some headers. After some more research they look to be a good fit but when they come in and i slap them on is when the test is done.. So i'll tell ya how it comes when they come in....In the meanwile you guys give me some feedback about it

Soory to doush the flames of hope but the 3800 and the 3.1 are totally different engines. The 3800 is a modular engine and the heads are completely different. But hey if by some work of a miracle they do fit let us know by all means.

No, Camaro_hunter, he said he ordered 2.8 fiero headers.

It sounds as though your onto something here. Other than the fiero engine is sitting sidways in the car it should work without alot of mods. Keep us posted.

yeah my bad I read it wrong. The feiro headers should work if they have the collector close to the heads and not wrapped around anything.

i dunno if those will fit. i *think* stock fiero exhaust has one manifold leading to a pipe going OVER the transmission leading to the Y pipe. whatever....i only replied to this topic so i could post this picture of the most beautiful things i've ever seen. ENJOY:

ummm, back to headers. yeah. seriously, if you really want headers, get like some 3.4 headers, have an exhaust shop put AIR and EGR fittings on and then make a custom Y pipe. who's gonna know if they're illegal or not. emissions wont go up. at least they shouldn't. hmmm, try the V6ers at www.camaroz28.com. i think they can refer you. or....damn, who was it that put the pacesetter headers on with just a little clearance probs???

And now, if you look closely, you can see the one with the '87 Camaro LT, who we have affectionatly named "Sexually Deprived".... Notice the drool dripping on the keyboard, and the intense mental focus on the ever-stimulating picture... fascinating....
