Functional Cowlhood or Ram air hood idea?
Well i was lookn at my moms 3.1 and hers is a FWD and i know all the parts could bolt over to mine if i wanted to b mean lol. Buy any ways Her intake theoreticly would facethe back of the engine if i remeber correctly. Well if we were to put hat on our car with a raised Cowl hood or a Raised Ram Air hood and made a scoop that could hold the filter and hook A hose to the TB we ould have Ram air or for us who like the Cowl hood a functional Cowlhood on a 6.
What do you guys think.

I saw "your hood" at Pick A Part.
Sitting on the ground, loose.
May still be there.
From a 1985/86 TA, back windshield hood scoop hood.
It's better to get air from the front, like I'm still trying.
Want to buy my Camaro air cleaner system? I paid $15 for it and can't use it on my Firebird. Comes with everything you need, filters (good and clean), dzus fasteners, side pieces for the radiator tunnel. Even an extra IAT (?) sensor for the air cleaner.
To much effort, for no return/results, with this Camaro air cleaner idea. I tried to use it on my Firebird.
They were right, it won't fit, no matter how I turn it around!
I'm onto a new fresh air idea, anyway.
Back to the ACME GO FASTER parts catalog. I got Wyli E. Coyotes' catalog by mistake
