very rough idle
i jsut installed a new engine in my camaro, it came out of a 93 s10 2.8. well i got it running but its idling BAD, the entire car shakes. at first i had the plugs mixed up so when i fixed that it smoothed out alittle bit. but not enough. i only have 1 vacuum leak and thats the main valve at the back of the intake for the PCV and i dont have the driver side exhaust all the way on the flang so i have an exhuast leak but that shouldnt case the entire car to shake this bad i dont think. but its ideling fine. its idling about 1000-900 warm (high idle) when it drops down its between 800 and 500 RPM. the plugs are new, and she starts right up but wants to die as soon as she starts because she idles too low, i have to stay on the gas for a minute before it can come back up and stay on its own but then the idle bounces alot. any ideas? the new engine was TPI but i wanted to keep the FI so i took the other intake off my old engine and put it on this so all the sensors are correct. could a vacum leak and exhaust leak cause this? timing is set, plenty of fuel so im lost.
also iv noticed that after the car either dies or i turn it off i can hear the pump run a few seconds after. any ideas there? my engines not throwing any codes. i removed the EGR and the charcoal canister aswell.

Re: very rough idle
A vaccume leak could very well be causing this rough ide in the low rpm's, but not an exhaust leak. Also, clean off your IAC and test it.
