Re: NEED HELP BIG TIME
sounds like ign coil...do to the fact that it starts up and dies right away. i had that happen to me before. i would try that first. buy a new and just connect it to the coil plug and module connectors if it fires up stays on then there goes your problem
Re: NEED HELP BIG TIME
I just got mine running today. I had one fuel injector that was shorting out. It would start then run for about 2 seconds then die. If I touched the gas pedal after it started then it would die immediately. It wouldn't hurt to test your fuel injectors.

@Sheriff420 That is exactly what mine does! Could you explain how to get at the injectors?

Remove:
-Throttle cables
-Throttle body from intake but leave the coolant hoses connected
-A/C compressor bracket to intake manifold
-EGR tube
-All the bolts for the upper part of the intake manifold
-All the vacuum lines connected to the upper part of the intake manifold
After that you can lift it off and test the injectors.
The best way to get the clips off the injectors wire harness without losing them is to grab it in the center with some needle nose pliers and pry one end off with a flathead screwdriver. You don't want to lose any of those.
Set your multimeter to ohms and put one probe on each prong on an injector, get the reading then move on to the next.
You're looking for each one to be over 12 ohms. Anything less and it needs to be replaced.
