The car has been junked! :(

No, not mine... my friend's Camaro- you know, the 2.8/2.8 swap one? He junked it last week, and says he left me like 20 voicemails asking if anyone would want to buy it- the junkyard only wanted $25 for it. Unfortunately I never got any voicemails... otherwise I would've posted the sale info here. Anything more than $25 would've taken it! (sigh) Sorry, guys.

Bummer it's junked; I gotta ask him what yard it's in, and pay it a visit!

Some semi-good news tho; Memorial Day & the Pipe Bender have almost filled up my roll of film from the swap. When that roll's done, I'll develop those shots, and find a free web page to stick them on. I should probably type up my "rebuild & swap" notes for the web page, too, eh?

Sure!
I'd enjoy it, you've got some good tips.
Except when you make me spend more money on tranny fluid!
My V-6 swap thread is possibly going up on the tech site.
$25?
And like he did not await a return call from ya?
After all you helped him on.
Did you ever get to hear the engine noise?

Geez,

with all the work you put into that thing you'd think he would've GIVEN the car to you

No, never heard the engine noise; our schedules have been way too different since a week after the swap. I took time off of work to help him with the swap because I know how it feels to be without a car; I didn't want to take any more time off.

I didn't want the car... he offered it to me for free, but there's nothing I wanted/needed off of it. All I really need for my car is a headliner- and his was shot.
