Haven't you read my swap thread.
That answwer is there.
Yes, you MUST get the 3.4 injectors when you get the engine.

The 3.4 injectors are the same size as the 305 Chevy ones.
Two, the spray pattern is much improved upon the pintle style injectors with your 3.1 set up.
Using them solves every possible problem.

In other words, you win.

FROM WHAT I SAW,
MAYBE the 3.4 injectors will help.
THAT SAID, if your current 2.8 ones work right, you also win.
Meaning, if you cannot use what ya put in, it MAY backfire and work against your plans for more performance.
Like a larger carb on a small engine.
All you may do is (gas) foul out the plugs quicker.
Me?
I'd say plan on upgrading to the 3.4 block.
OR, keep making everything you have on your current engine work great, then go get the 3.4 block (hop up distributor, ignition system, they will swap over when ya get the bigger engine!, increase exhaust flow, too)
