I Need Traction!!
was messing around with a civic SI this morning..and at one stop i was holding the clutch, reving it at 1600. When i let out the clutch, i did it very slow, but i was spinning my drive tire and i was all over the road.. The most obvious is the SLP posi which im going to order tomorrow or hopefully today, then im going to try out a spohn torque arm. Any other ideas? What about wider rear tires for increased grip? Whats the largest i can get on the 15x7 rear wheels? Im not going to swap rims, so im going to fit the largest on the rims i have. TIA

IF ya can find one, cheap (you may be able to) Corvette rims from the 70's are 8" wide, same bolt pattern, too.
I have paid $5 for one wheel.

Keep in mind that a little wheelspin is actually a GOOD thing. If you have none at all, you'll bog more off the line. Seeing as how the 60 degrees' have so little torque as it is, be careful you don't make it hook up too good!!
And this is not a slight against V6s...I've seen LT1s with trac-links and slicks bog off the line and end up with higher 1/4 mile times!!
