I finally found one!!
I finally found one!!
So i was rummaging through some of the junkyards looking for some dead maro's that i could probably yoink some parts off of, after searching through 4 yards and coming up empty handed i was at the last one of the day and as i was just about to leave i saw a white camaro sittin in the distance lookin all sad like so i decided to take a look at it not expecting to find much since i could tell the engine was missing, but when i got up to it there in the ground in the engine bay was the dual snorkel set-up for the 2.8 so i nabbed it and the other piece that holds the filters for $10, pretty sweet. Before i went home i stopped off at the auto store and bought some filters for it and went home and installed the whole thing. Now that i've overplayed the whole incident my question is, since i have a 3.1 would the dual snorkel setup i just bought or the stock 3.1's stock intake be better, i really like the dual snorkel one because it looks cool but which is better performance wise? TIA.

The dual-snorkel's the best. You can use a short (6 inches?) piece of 2.5" exhaust tubing to "fill in for" the missing 2.8 mass-air-flow sensor. That MAF went between the dual snorkel and the TB intake hose.
