anyone draw it up yet on how to wire one properly?

Tie both pinks together and then both whites. It's really quite simple.
Pink = ignition
White = Tach/coil trigger.
Pink = ignition
White = Tach/coil trigger.
They just made it complicated looking for fun: typical engineeres
Stock replacement Ive carried for a spare for years, didn't last 1000 miles and the car would not start today.
put back on a n old crusty one and varoom.........
done with those funky epoxy filled junk coils..........

Those "junky epoxy filled coils" have worked far better for me (and many others) than the oil filled ones.

simple logic, heat kills ignition parts/performance.Originally Posted by Six_Shooter

epoxy holds in heat.
oil filled ones do not, the oil is there to cool them and thus work better and last longer.
There is no difference except that, they have built in cooling.
If you say so...
Just think though, where does the heat go?
I've had way more oil filled coils fail than epoxy coils.

solid white - solid black
pink[with black stripe]-black [with pink/purple stripe]
Those are the colors I have and in that order left right, top bottom like the coil pic.
And Dave Ray says so, these 4 coil are also the only ones who pass his spin test for reliable spark through the full rpm band.

Knowing Dave Ray is like Knowing Bill Gates, he designed ign systems for GM and still consults for race teams.

Expose the wires more, you'll find that the black is really a dirty white, and the pink with purple stripe is really just a faded black stripe.
