Transmission: 700r4
HELP!! Starter problems...
Starter just blew on my 3.1. My question is will the starter that came off of my 3.4 motor bolt up?

Almost the same starter 
. May need to shim it to get the right pinion-to-ring gear gap. Gap should be 1/8" clearance between the ring gear teeth and the shaft in the end of the starter.

It should, I have a 2.8 starter on my 3.4 and it lined up and works just fine.
