aluminum heads for 2.8 v6
Looking to cut weight and add cfm per cylinder before I put the money into porting and polishing a set I misewell start with the best I can... I know it probably means using a fwd top end but im not afraid of some fabricating... what vehicle to take the top end off of would be a great help...
thanks again, Mike

Re: aluminum heads for 2.8 v6
ur forgetting that with the blower u will have to change out the pistons as well
besides that just look in the jy for anything with a late model 3400 ,3500 is out unless u start with a 3.4
what u have now is cheap with the blower, i say get it running as is and enjoy it ,and build a second motor on the side

3400 heads will fit on the 2.8/3.1 block, it's the 3500 heads that require the bore of the 3.4 block.
Any '96+ 3400, or 2000+ 3100 will have the top end you desire.
