timing help
I have a 2.8l 88 firebird that is out of timing. I know how to set the timing just don't know where 10* BTDC is on the timing tab. A pic would help or witch v past 0* would help.
I've recently did a lower intake change and cleaned the gunk under the intake and got the valves set right now I need to set the timing. I can't read the numbers on it someone took sandpaper to it and stcrached the numbers off.

Re: timing help
If it's like a V8 car, there should be a "V" deeper than the others - the bottom (valley) of this "V" is ZERO, and each peak and valley after that (counterclockwise - standing in front of car, the "V" 's left of the deep one) is two degrees. So, the top of the deep V is 2, the bottom of the next is 4, the next top is 6, then next bottom is 8, then next top is 10.
That make sense?
