My rebuilt engine is finally in and while i was under the car i noticed that the shifter cable was broken. I installed a new shifter cable today and went through all the gears. IT went through everything fine, until i tried to put it in park. It went into park, but the car rolled. I went through the gears again and put it in park and the cable broke. Any ideas as to what the problem might be??? Thanks.

 

Go to the tranny section and ask for Pro Built Leo
Or Dana.
Those guys REALLY know their stuff!
They can answer any question.
But, it sounds like something losened, for the cable to not keep in place correctly.
