TPI AIR CLEANER BOX 85-92 on ebay...........

Hey guys, I was just wondering if this would do anything for our cars? I know some of you might laugh at me or think I'm dumb BUT, could you hook this up to our 6 cylinders? Because I figured, the air duct for our cars is so crooked, if the air went straight to the intake and didn't have to go through that long crooked duct, wouldn't that be a performance upgrade for us? Here's the link.

85-89 V6 Camaro's came with that intake. Since 90-92 don't have a MAF GM had to use a different intake. I have that intake on my car and i used a junkyard MAF to fill the 3-4 inch gap.

Hey 87camaro, All the engines in all the thirdgens have vertical engines. Actually I think every camaro has a vertical one! 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th gen think. Thanks for all your input guys. So should I not bother getting one of those intakes? Would it not help performance any? I guess it wouldn't because if it did have better performance they would have kept it in the 3.1 liter huh?
