Only go with 1.6 if you plan to put in new vlave springs, and the crane 2030 cam.

If you plan to use the old springs, stock cam or any combo of that go with the 1.52's.

Brian, did your friend with the 1.6 RR's ever go through emissions testing? I wonder how the 1.6's affect emissions... I guess they'd raise it, eh?

I have a question. How do 1.52 rockers help?

The stock ratio is 1.5 so I can see how the 1.6 might help. Are the 1.52s "special" in some way?

Just curious.

Stock are not accurate. One could be 1.51, one could be 1.49 and so on.. The 1.52 roller tips summit/jegs sells are very accurate. The roller tips also reduce friction thus making more HP. Plus it opens just enough more for more power to be made with a stock cam or the crane 2030 series...

Graeme, you have 1.6's, too? Brian told us of someone that put them on and their car went slower... how's yours doing?

point being all stock and worn springs... to get power you need the cam and new springs... if they get replaced I bet the power goes up...
