Car: 1991 Corvette Coupe
Engine: L98
Transmission: 700R4/4L60 same trans different name
you'll need a whole new tranny.......automatics do not use a seperate bellhousing......the bellhousing is one piece with the casing........trust me, i found this hard to beleive too, until i went to the transmission shop to get my T5 rebuilt........IMHO, the whole swap is not worth it.........if you want a V8 car, buy a V8 car..........maybe a 3.4 will interest you?

Only one true way a V-6 is good for a V-8 swap. Find a stripped junk car, great body.
Beyond that, CHECK YOUR LOCAL EMISSIONS LAWS FIRST.
The ZZ4 is a KILLER ENGINE PACKAGE, but a $5k bill, TO START! Rest of stuff you get new, used, rebuilt & problem solve.
WANT A SCREAMING DEAL?????
