Imagine this?

high 13's at 2900lbs with a 150RWHP outta a stock 302cid ford engine... think what would happen if i actually built a 302 on a stand that has a build sheet for 400 crank hp.... Or if i installed that engine and went fiberglass on my hood and fenders and then took and changed the 74 big bumpers to 72 small bumpers - that might put me at 2650lbs with somewhere around 320RWHP and a 150 shot of NOS.... Jeez - i could be slow eh?

(turns and looks at his engine stand and a engine on it ready to go into a certain old car)

Irocs were 3900 pounds? ekkkk, thats weird i MUST have recieved wrong info about Iroc's last i checked them.....

Wouldn't that equal out to about 150hp at the wheels?

You got nerve talking smack about me. I have a street weight of 3900lbs. and run in the high 13's. You do the math.

I can see you are used to driving under-powered machinery.

Yeah theres one that runs around here thats pushing 350hp out the rear wheels. I wanna make it clear i am not trying to push ford engines here guys. Just being as insultive and off the wall to Iroc5.7 as he is being to you guys. I could give 2 farts if he is faster. Its not about that, its about everyone having fun and building a car they can be proud of. So..... as i go off on this jerk using my Mav, don't think i am going against the GM bird i grew to love and will ALWAYS respect

No way in hell irocz5.7s car weighs that much, my iroc weighs 3400 pounds with a ton of extra crap in it. Maybe you guys should stop feeding the troll(s).

Hey I saw a toyota truck today with the "no bumper" mod, you could try that one to save some weight.

Even though I do plan on putting in a 4.3 Turbo motor Like the typhoon/cyclone breed. Though I do plan on making it a little stronger. I want it pushing close to 550 ponies at full boost. I also plan on losing alot of weight by making a 1 peice fiberglass front clip and am aiming at to loose close to 120 pounds their. I plan on making alot of one off fiberglass peices as I can to get all the weight off that I can. I want this running close to the 10's at the very least. Not bad for a "piddly V6" as the V8ers call them. I just want to be able to take any street driven V8.
