The car would start going realllllly slow during WOT. CD player wouldn't play and my gauges all cut off. Then the "INFL REST" light came on. And I have no idea what that light means. But then it would start to skip. Then after about 2 mins of skipping while pressing the gas it cut off. I let it sit for about 30 mins. Started it back up and tried to get home. About 20 miles up the road it started it again. So before it could cut off I pulled over and let it sit again. Went home and let it sit for about 30 more mins. Went back to start it up and now all it will do is click. Come on guys help me out!

 

Not shure But it might be an electrical short somewhere in your car. I had a car that did that to me. COuld be anything? sory

 

Alternator out shorted and took the battery with it..coil is gone and constant starting lowered the battery charge. Umm... Distributor is gone, etc.

Im thinking again, sounds like alt/batt. when the starter doesnt have enough voltage to start, it clicks. sounds like the alt died, the car was running on battery, the alt came on/off once or twice... charged a little then finally quit.

Take out battery, go get it charged, take it to the place that charged battery to test elctrical system.

Anyone else with a similar issue in the next few days, it's probably yer alt. They've been dying all OVER the place here.. mine and at least 3 others within 2-3 days.. It's just the week of the alternator.
