Yes, but look at the pic. The guy muxt be a complete dumbass. Really the proof is in the badges. I sent him an email beause it said it had the V8... well I said it looks like a V6 Trans Am to me (I know they never made any other V6 Trans Am). So we will see. My brother might want to buy it.
Who knows maybe a previous owner made it up to look like one.

Well maybe the 3.8L died on him and he decided to get a V8 instead.

P.S. before you jump up my bone with "why would he want a V8 over the TTA engine!?!?!" they dont make the 3.8L anymore and maybe he didn't feel like buying a used engine.

Just my version of what the story could be.

No buying them isnt hard, but the price isn't worth it to make a clone with out the 3.8 Turbo. Trust me I know I had to buy a complete set of emblems for mine. Try close to $1000 for a complete set with out the window and door stickers. Well thats for OEM the replacement ones are a tad cheaper.

Kyle then you got ripped off. Unless you wanted to go OEM because I have seen the emblems online for like $13-$40. Not exspensive at all.

Well I will tell you this much, where ever you saw that at had to be the worst POS emblems ever. The turbo sticker that goes under the rear center cection is selling for no less than $40 on ebay. There is a guy who does reproduction Window and dorr stickers in a kit fro $75 and people on the TTA tech board go crazy for them.
Just to give you and IDea of what OEM stuff off a TTA is worth. A complete set of Plug wires used are aorth about $300. A guy just sold them on the TTA Tech board and people were lining up to buy them.
Stuff is crazy for these cars.
Though seriously it was worth the extra mony to get a comp[lete set of OEM emblems. I didn't pay $1000 because I didnt get a set of door stickers or a new window. Just the nose sail panels, Indy emblems, Turbo Trans Am Front quarter and it was like $450. Everyone that has one of these cars has said I got a "decent" deal. I guess I could have got them a little chaeper if I would have piece wised it together but I didnt feel like investing the time to find them all seprerately.

Well it turbs out to be just a 350TPI... here is the email we sent.

My borther and I are both interested in purchasing your Trans Am. Though from the picture it seems that it is a V6 equiped Trans Am, but your ad sayes its a V8. Could you clear this up with me and also send me the vin# so I can check out it's history,. Also what town you live in so We can maybe see if we want to take as trip to look at it?

It has a 350 TPI V8 not a Turbo V6. I did not have a pic of my car so I use this one which is of a Turbo V6, sorry, But I does look the same.

The Vin Number is 1G2FW218OKL219989 I am the second owner of this car and as far as I know it has never been in a wreak.

I live in Ashville which is 30 mins south of Columbus Ohio. Let me know if you have anymore questions.

Thanks,
Charles

What a punk. The TTA does not look the same Dmanit. There are very destinct things that visually set it apart. OK Im done ranting.
If only it had been a TTA and My brother could have bought it. Oh the possibilities of having two TTAs in the family.
Oops gotta change my shorts
got a little too excited over the thought of that one.
