I think you need some adaptors to get them to fit. I have no idea where to get them...

what you want to do is find a universal shift ****. The universal shift **** will have a base that adapts to any shifters shaft. If you have an auto, you might have to put some paper in the 8 ball so the lever inside the shaft is pushed down so you can shift out of park. This will eleminate the safty button but who cares!

Argh, don't even start me on shifter *****.. I have a 91 3.1 auto and I tried to replace my shifter **** with a universal..didn't fit! The base on the shifter was too wide.. Sure, the shifter would go down to a certain point, but it would stop and I couldn't get it down any further and couldn't put the screws in or anything.. I ended up totally demolishing this little plastic fitting piece inside it trying to get it to fit, so I can't return it now.. Waste of $15...argh.. In the end, I'm not pissed though because my shifter goes so easy that I really need that safety button or I could screw the baby up real bad.
