how much for the engine? nudge nudge, wink wink.

84 mustang?... parts are plenty, but the pop5.0 came out in 86, I believe 84 v8/v6 had tbi. n not really a whole lot for that setup. when I was going to hop up the t-bird, i got muskle rustangs & fast f*rds mag. lots of stuff in it. h-pipe from 86 on up will work for duall exhaust. should have gotten a t-bird instead, that way you could say you're a 'bird man.

never forget your roots, thanks for the posts, & good lick in your new POS....I mean POSitive experiance.

At least he didn't double cross over the lines and get an import!

I'll be the first cool guy and say good luck with the new car.

CamaroVroom I would LOVE to race your "real muscle car" and show you a thing or two. As for a V6 not being a muscle car as you put it all I gotta say is....Kyle help the boy out here.

Sorry CamaroVroom... 84 Gt sure isnt a muscle car.. muslce cars are classified as: no smog, loud engines, carbeurated, and built before 74. What you have is a ford.

I'd have to say, the "muscle" in V6's is because the car comes with a V8 option, V6 doesn't fit the muscle profile... but I have nothing against them. I have nothing against Mustangs, while 86 has a true dual option... the real powerful ones are in '85, that was the highest rated GT I believe for most of the rest of the 80's. Also, Gt's have headers stock I think... Good luck with the pony... but don't be afraid to come back to the right side
