Fuel pump has ben changed...WOW!!!
I think someone snuck a bigger engine under my hood!
Got the pump changed and the RS has never felt so damn strong.Even at 200 degrees engine temp the car will chirp the tire when it changes gears. It even sound louder!

I changed a OEM pump for an OEM pump. And replaced fuel filter.
I didn't have time to change it.I've worked 27 out of 31 days this month and every damn one of em was a 12 hour shift.So....I had someone else do it!

I also went with OEM, I had a repair shop install it becuase of a long story, but to make it short I got a fuel pump replaced, fuel filter replaced, and labor cost me about $350 all together so if you want to get a repair shop to do it for ya expect no more then that.
to me I get better throttle response and way better acceleration after 60 mph before it took a while to get to 100mph, now it just rides up on there
well look at it this way:
better fuel system = better acceleration & response
a 100,000 mile strained fuel pump is not going to be as good that a 0 mile brand spanking new one.
and now my car guzzles gas much faster than it used to

Both my pumps died.. the first one (original GM) left me stranded at work. I replaced it by myself with a Borg-Warner one (stock replacement). The second one died on me at the racetrack. Luckily, I could get it home if I kept the engine RPM's above 3000 (that was a helluva ride, trying to keep the RPM's up!) I replaced it with the same Borg-Warner unit (got it for free, lifetime warranty).
There are high-flow pumps out there (Edelbrock and I think Holley), but they're meant for the V8 TPI's. (We can't use a V8 TBI, the pressure's too low). V8 TPI pumps flow more than a V6 MPFI pump (but use the same pressure), so using an aftermarket "high-flow" TPI pump might not be a good idea.

HEy speaking of keeping the rpm's high I have to do the same just about every time i stop my car at a stop light, or else it will die on me, could that be the result of a shaddy fuel pump?
