AT first we thought the leak was coming from the manifold itself, which it still may be, but there is a piece of the PCV valve thats broken, and Im pretty sure thats whats causing the stalling, but I have no ideas what the piece is called so I can replace it, it kinda looks like a + but its offset. it connects to the valve cover, something on the back of the motor, and the throttle body itself. I need help identifying it!

I dont know if this helps but its the piece that connects the PCV valve to the intake, to the throttle body.

do you have a V6 or know anyone with one? its literally right beside the distributor and PCV valve, just out of view unless you look at the back of the engine from the strut tower

 

You're NEVER going to find an exact replacement. I went to the dealer for one when mine broke off (the big pipe) at the cross. It's called the idle air inlet pipe, and there is NO PART NUMBER for it (listed as NPN in the parts catalogs). A junkyard probably won't help unless you can find an untouched 2.8 older than 88. If you , I've indicated to a couple people how to make one out of heater hose and PVC pipe fittings. However, this requires moving the evap canister vacuum hose to the T on the back of the upper intake, with another T.

And, again, that's what I was talking about. There is no replacement. The long black pipe runs to the throttle body and is the idle bypass air intake for the engine through the air inlet on the back of the intake manifold next to the dizzy.
