I Blew up my engine!HELP!!!

I have no idea how but i threw a Rod and i might have cracked a piston! the damn engine only had 87,000 miles on it and i never drove it too hard. Where can i find a V6 for cheap (no junk yards)

P.S.
i would like to stay a V6 prefferably a 3.4 V6

junk yard is the only place to get one at a fair price.

you just gotta know your junk yards.

where else can you buy parts for 5 buck and sell them on ebay for 50.

Gotta check the salvage yards. Karl got his 3.4 with like 40,000 miles for about $800. Some are cheaper.

GM doesn't make the 2.8 anymore....only a FWD 3.1 and the 3.4 HT crate motor which is around $2,400.

I paid 650 for my 3.4, with 65,000 miles...but u will also need a strong trans also...I have gone going on my third one right now.
