Car: 13 Ram 1500/ 78 Formy
Engine: 5.7 / 7.4
Transmission: 6sp / TH350
Axle/Gears: 3.55 posi / 3.23
Get the oil cooler. your tranny already has a cooler in the radiator. Not sure as to any brand being better than another. Also, run a cooler thermostat, such as 180*. This will work good all year round, and with cooler radiator temp comes cooler trany fluid temp.
OR
Savve up some more & install both. Install the trany cooler before the radiator
a) Trany fluid out to cooler in.
b) Cooler out to radiator in
c) Radiator out to trany in.

$150.00 2.8 Auto.
short block now
turbo eventually, 3.4 may be in the future
76 Bonnie: 400/400 CIA/Ram Air w/ metal clothes dryer ducting
Power "boat"ing land style

Car: 1986 Firebird
Engine: 2.8 V6
Transmission: 700R4
Tranny cooler. The 700r4 runs hotter than other RWD transmissions, and it's a good investment against blowing your trans.
Almost forgot- mine's by B&M...
