i just bought an 86 bird and i just did plugs wires and oil change. before i did that it drove fine until to day. i had stopped at a stop sign then hit the gas and had no power got home let it sit for a little bit then drove it again was fine until i stopped again does any one have an idea what may be causing this dillemma for now its my daily driver until i get another vehicle and im just wondering if anyone has a solution and or suggestions on what i can do to fix my problem thanks

 

Test the fuel pressure, the test port is near the distibutor, spec is 36-45psi. You can rent a tester at autozone.
Test for spark, could be an ignition module heating up & acting up.
