fuel line replacement

my car randomly started lacking a ton of power then got to a point where it wouldn't start. i found a fuel leak in the hose as pictured below. i have check online for these hoses and can't find them. my question is are these hoses just a rubber tube and you attach the metal connectors to the ends or where would you buy these?

May be able to find some in the JY. Be sure to get them from a '90-'92 car as the earlier years had a recall due to leaking at the crimp.

The other thing to do is to use AN line & fittings.

I mention the above as I don't know if they are available new elsewhere.

I replaced mine a few years back and just got them at the local GM dealer. They already had the ends attatched, so all you had to do is take the old off(carfull of the connectors) and put the new on.

ok, i can get one from a parts Camaro my friend has, but that Camaro is a 86 and who knows the condition of the hose in that car. a new one would be preferred so i know it will last a long time. i may just take my friends until i can get another.

Re: fuel line replacement

in a pinch you can cut the crimp off with a cutoff wheel, remove the old hose and use new hose rated for fuel injection pressure.. just make sure to use the correct fuel injection type clamps and it'll be fine.

Just a heads up, there is an o-ring at each connection. Be careful to not double them up or lose them.

Re: fuel line replacement

Can't you just buy the fuel line replacement kits they sell and rig up some lines yourself?

Re: fuel line replacement

I replaced my lines and just used a few feet of 3/8' fuel injection hose and the appropriate fittings. literally ANY auto parts store will have what you need.

mind you youre seems to have some sort of factory stock connectors, if you can remove them all together you can just slide on new hoses

Re: fuel line replacement

I'm not sure which is which. However, if they are different sizes the fuel feed line is usually larger then the others.
