after i posted a question about my 87 i got GREAT feedback from members & i thank you all!!! now to the IAC, i pulled it out as suggested and cleaned it nice and shiny like..lol...when i looked into the housing it was pretty black an gummed up so i started fishing around my shop for stuff to clean it out with,then up on a shelf in a wooden box BINGO a gun cleaning kit!with this nifty contraption i ws able to get in there good and clean her well.If none of you have tried this they work great for gettin in those pesky places.thought i'd pass this on to anyone who has to do this in the future if you don't have one wallmart sells 'em for about $15 bucks thanx again to all who replied....

 

That's great. But I don't see exactly why this needs a new thread instead of just posting in the original thread?
