Ok, I have a 1984 firebird with a 2.8 V6 and it has a rochester 2 bbl carb and I know its expensive but bad. Ok. So, I love the idea of a chrome, round air cleaner on top of the carb. Is there any way I can get one. (My carb is rectangular?)

 

DUDE I'VE BEEN WONDERING ABOUT THIS TOO!!!!! I had the guy at advanced auto parts pretty baffled lol I was thinking about just modifying the bottom of the pan just cutting it to use with an aftermarket top but I wanted a bigger filter so it's not smart IMO.

 

That's exactly what i did I just cut around the bottom and I bought a chrome 10 inch air cleaner lid. It looks pretty B/A. I'd do it. It only took me like 20 minutes for something that will help you in the long run. I'm going to take pictures eventually. Good luck my friend. Add me on facebook.
