Car: 83 CaMarO Z28
Engine: 383 stroker AFR heads 600hp
Transmission: 700r4 stage 3
Axle/Gears: 373 9"
88 2.8 jerks while accelerating and bogs when floored
this 2.8 has to slowly accelerate to gain speed if ur punch the pedal it wont go at all just hits a mid level rpm and stays there but idles perfect but if i slowly rev it up it will hit top rpm not if i punch it tho? but once i put load to it it doesnt wanna move im stumped on this ive changed alot of s*** and checked vaccums

just replaced the dizzy and TPS it did same stuff before and still does..wtf lol

make sure its tight, after many many moon mine somehow started movin a hair on its own yr or so back, had to really horse down on it to stay put.
would run great one spot, awful like that the other.
also check tach feed wire on the coil, if someone used a quick connect for a tach, they cut the wires.

I only had like 3 strands left of my coil wire from using one of those quick connects. Same thing happened to my fuel pump.
replacement fuel pumps come with quick connects but they are junk.

i think mine is actually spliced into the wiring behind the tach gauge and should i hard wire fuel pump?

New replacement FP come with quick connects, mine burnt away till almost an inch gap that juice had to arc for it to "work" left me stranded one night, sucked. Wires are well connected now.
