3.4 Question

Everything I see on the torque specifications for the rods, mains, and head bolts on the 93-95 Camaro/Firebird engine is 37 ft pounds or so. Is this correct because it seems low to me.

That sounds like a torque to yield spec. It's probably 37 ft-lbs plus 90 degrees if they are torque to yield bolts.

Grabbed my 3.4 service manual, which shows:

Connecting rod nut: 37 ft-lbs
Main bearing caps: 37 ft-lbs plus 77 degrees
Cylinder head bolts: 41 ft-lbs plus 90 degrees
