Adjustable fpr

I got a 91 Camaro with 165K miles on it. Should I change the fpr? It still good so far. Is it a good idea for maintenance. I looked them up and they are about $70. Along with what is the procedure putting in an adjustable?

Re: Adjustable fpr

The FPR on my 1992 V6 lasted until 142,000 miles. At 165k miles, if yours has not ever been changed and you have the extra cash, it may be a worth changing. You don't need an "adjustable" FPR; just buy the correct FPR.

If you are putting in an FPR, you should also check the injectors. However, regular replacement of the FPR is not a regular maintenance item like changing oil & filter, greasing steering/suspension fittings, packing wheel bearings, etc.

Have you checked the fuel pressure? Are you having any problems? Do you know what repairs or modifications have already been done on the vehicle?

Update note: Just noticed your other post. Maverick knows what he is talking about & you won't go wrong following his recommendations.
